Industrial Solar Installation
Rooftop and shed-mounted solar plants for factories, warehouses and cold stores — planned with feasibility and safety first.
Industrial Rooftop Solar
Factories, warehouses, cold stores and workshops often have two things that suit solar: large roofs and significant daytime energy demand. A well-planned rooftop or shed-mounted plant can supply part of that demand from the sun, reducing the units purchased from the grid.
Industrial projects need more than panels — they need structural checks, electrical integration with your existing setup, safety planning and a clear execution schedule. Suntail Solar approaches each project with a feasibility study before any proposal.
Factory and Warehouse Energy Requirements
- Shift pattern and operating days, which determine how much solar is used directly
- Machinery, compressors, cooling and lighting loads
- Connection type (LT or HT) and sanctioned/contract demand
- Power-quality and backup arrangements already in place
- Future expansion plans for the facility
Site Assessment and Feasibility

The feasibility study reviews roof area and orientation, shed or RCC structure and its load capacity, sheet type and condition, shading from stacks or adjacent buildings, walkway and safety access, inverter location and cable routing, and the point of interconnection. The outcome is a clear view of what can be installed and what it would take.
Project Sizing and Installation Planning (End-to-End Execution)
For industrial clients we can manage the project from design through to commissioning — engineering, procurement of components, installation and testing — often described as solar EPC. The plan covers:
- System capacity based on load and available roof
- Layout, structure design and component selection
- Approvals and interconnection requirements
- Execution schedule, including any planned shutdown for interconnection
- Testing, commissioning and handover documentation

Potential Energy-Cost Benefits
Solar can reduce the energy units you buy from the grid during operating hours. The financial benefit depends on your tariff, how much of the generation you consume directly, operating days and how well the plant is maintained. We share estimates with the assumptions written down — never a fixed promise.
Maintenance and Operational Considerations
- Panel cleaning frequency suited to dust and industrial emissions
- Safe roof access with walkways or lifelines for cleaning teams
- Periodic checks of structure, earthing, cabling and inverters
- Generation monitoring to spot performance drops early

Often, yes. We check the sheet type and condition, purlin spacing and the structure's load capacity. Mounting is selected to avoid damaging the sheets and to keep the roof weatherproof.
Most rooftop work happens without affecting operations. Electrical interconnection may need a short planned shutdown, which we schedule with you in advance.
Regular panel cleaning (more often in dusty areas), periodic inspection of structures, cables and connections, inverter checks and performance monitoring. A maintenance plan can be agreed after commissioning.
No. Returns depend on your consumption, tariff, generation, operating days and maintenance. We share estimates with the assumptions clearly stated so you can review them.
